Activated Carbon

MemAqua Solutions supplies Activated Carbon into the potable and industrial markets.

What is Activated Carbon

Activated Carbon is a porous material that is modified to have a very large surface area that is able to adsorb a wide variety of contaminants from a selective process stream.

How does it work?

Due it’s large surface area and designed chemistry, it is able to adsorb large quantities of pollutants into its internal pore structure.

Types of Carbon

- Powdered Carbon ( PAC )
- Extruded Carbon ( EAC )
- Granular Carbon ( GAC )

MemAqua Solutions stocks a wide range of the above types of Carbon that can be used for different industrial sectors, including: water, mining, refining, automotive, food and beverage, agricultural, health care, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper and oil and gas industry.

Our products are NSF certified and Halaal approved which meets most of the industrial market requirements and can easily be traced to the source per batch supplied.

The Selection of the most suitable carbon for a specific application depends on various factors including the concentration, chemical and physical properties of the toxins, pollutants or contaminants that needs to be removed.

To find out Which Carbon you require for your process application please contact us for further discussions with our Technical Team, who will guide you through the selection process to ensure the best grade is chosen for maximum results.
